Famous Inventors Cards
The facts included here may spark your child’s curiosity, leading them to delve deeper into the lives of specific scientists, discover their own passions, and create their own dreams.
Each page features two people from history who made significant contributions to the world of science, medicine, publishing, and engineering or who developed useful inventions that we rely upon today.
Each card shows a picture of the inventor with his or her name and a summary of what he or she invented. Read about one inventor each day, and if you wish, do some research to find out more about this person and his or her contribution to the world. For your convenience, I included a Biography Report as part of this printable. Print as many copies as inventors your kids want to research.
After 15 days, you can use the cards for a fun quiz about each inventor. Who invented the World Wide Web? What is Kevlar used for? Which person developed modern germ theory? If you print a second set of cards, you can use them as memory cards.
