Welcome back to Learning Kid Linkup now with five hosts! We are so glad you are here! What is new in your life? We had another whirlwind week of classes, playdates, and field trips. It seems that every day we are running somewhere. We need to drop out of some classes to make room for holiday season and to enjoy more balanced life.
No matter how busy we are I make an effort to have a serious chunk of outdoor time every day. Fall is beautiful this year!
Here we are in the North Park Village Center. This deer came super close to us, but by the time I got my phone out he walked away.
Surprisingly enough we came across this butterfly. It must the last one in town.
And here is one of my favorite view in Chicago. Navy Pier! We come here often because of the Children’s museum.
On the homeschooling front we have been busy reading (post coming up), writing one million Santa letters (this is the easier way I know to practice handwriting), doing science (especially Plant Science because we are already missing all the luscious greens of the summer) and lots of tinker projects (I wish I had time to share but I only have time for one post each week and by the time I finish with all the posts I already started it will be next year).
And now to the linkup.
